Lahore is home to NTNWaale's own office, and also to one of Pakistan's most diverse taxpayer bases — corporate employees in Gulberg, textile and garment exporters along Ferozepur Road, wholesale traders in the walled city, and a fast-growing IT sector centred on DHA and Gulberg. Every one of them files the same way: through FBR's IRIS portal, by 30 September each year.
Who Needs to File in Lahore
- Salaried employees at corporate offices, banks, and multinationals across Gulberg, Model Town, and DHA
- Textile, garment, and leather exporters based in the industrial belt near Kot Lakhpat and Ferozepur Road
- Wholesale and retail traders in Anarkali, Liberty Market, Shah Alam Market, and the old city bazaars
- IT companies and freelance developers/designers billing clients overseas
- Property owners with rental income or recent sale/purchase activity in DHA Lahore or Bahria Town Lahore
- Anyone whose taxable income exceeds the annual exemption threshold, regardless of profession
Filing Doesn't Require Visiting Our Office
Being headquartered in Lahore doesn't change how we file for Lahore clients — everything happens on IRIS, the same national system used for every other city. You don't need to come to our Multan Road office or to the Regional Tax Office; documents move over WhatsApp and the return is submitted electronically.
Documents You'll Need
- CNIC and active mobile number
- Salary certificate or annual tax deduction statement, for salaried filers
- Business bank statements and sales/purchase records, for traders and exporters
- Property sale/purchase deeds or rental agreements, if applicable
- Details of assets and liabilities for the wealth statement
What's Different for Lahore's Exporters
Textile and garment exporters operating out of Lahore's industrial zones deal with export-proceeds withholding tax and, in many cases, sales tax registration alongside their income tax return. NTNWaale handles both together where needed, rather than treating them as separate engagements.
Deadline & Penalties
The individual filing deadline is 30 September each year. Missing it means falling off the Active Taxpayer List until you file, and paying the higher non-filer withholding rates on banking, property, and vehicle transactions in the meantime — a real cost given how active Lahore's property and banking activity typically is.
